Mies van der Rohe's Seagram Building New York City Art Project

Love this unique craft project for the budding architect by Sweet Paul

City Lights
Make your own glowing skyline at home.
You need:
Printouts of buildings on craft paper
tall votive
tea candle

Start by doing a search on Google for your favorite piece of architecture; it helps to choose a tall building such as Mies van der Rohe's modernist Seagram Building or the legendary Flatiron Building; both New York landmarks.  Print on heavy stock craft paper.  Start by cutting out your building, remember to leave a flap on each side where you glue them together. Using an exacto cut out a few windows. Tape the two flaps together. Place over a tall votive with a tea candle. Its important that the votive is almost as tall as the building, for safety.
