The 85 Lamps Chandelier was designed by Rody Graumans for Droog Design in the Netherlands. Less and more in a single product: 85 bulbs, fitting, cord and connector create light. The 85 lamp duplicates create a luxurious modern chandelier.

The 85 Lamps Chandelier uses 80 pieces of E27 incandescent light bulbs. The light output of each light bulb is about 7W. Each light bulb emits a very soft ambient light. Light bulbs for this lamps are included. Professional installation recommended.

The 85 Lamps Chandelier is included in the permanent design collection of the MoMA in New York. The Rody Graumans 85 Lamps Chandelier was selected for inclusion in the first design collection offered by Droog Design, established in 1994 by designers and theorists Gijs Bakker and Renny Ramakers. Droog is a firm that has captured much attention for its stance against consumerism and its use of industrial and recycled materials. The diverse works of the talented young designers chosen for The Museum of Modern Art design collection celebrate ingenuity, economy of form, and a minimalist aesthetic, as does this lamp by Graumans.
