This mesmerizing lantern light functions as a lamp, ambient light source, and as a unique sculpture and artwork all at once. It utilizes a classic rice paper lamp shade that transform a common bulb into a soft ambient light glow. He Chose The Name 'akari' For These Objects, A Word That Means 'light' In Japanese, Connoting Both Illumination And Physical Lightness.
